It is also an affordable way for students to subscribe to a respected news source.

Student news readership program

The Wall Street Journal student newsletter readership program aims to attract young people interested in reading and reporting the newspaper's articles. The newspaper's sister publications include Barron's, Far Eastern Economic Review, and SmartMoney. A one-year subscription costs $15 for students who wish to join the student readership program.

The Student Affairs budget sponsored the program which gives students digital subscriptions of the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and other publications. The new subscription program also includes videos and podcasts. The Commonwealth campuses are now included in the new subscription program. For the next academic year, the printed newspaper will be available but will eventually become entirely digital.

UT Permian Basin membership

Alumni and students from UT Permian Basin have the opportunity to receive a special Wall Street Journal subscription. This subscription will also be available to students who set up their UTPB Email accounts. The subscription is made possible through the College of Business and the J. Conrad Dungan Library.


The UT Permian Basin male tennis team has 15 players, and a head coach. The team's net profit is around $30,581 annually, but it is worth mentioning that some sports are money-losers. The men's team's coach makes $67780 a year and the women's team's head coach makes $46,867 a year.

Students at UT Permian Basin will soon be able take advantage of a Wall Street Journal student subscription. Once they have set up an email account at UTPB, they can access the magazine. The subscription is courtesy of the College of Business and the J. Conrad Dungan Library.

The conference will feature industry speakers, including Mitch Mamoulides - Midland and Delaware Basin Manager for Chevron; Chuck Yates - managing director of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors LP; and Jefferson G. Parker - managing director at IberiaBank Corp. John Fund, a member on the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board will also be present at the conference. Travis Stice is the president of Diamondback Energy. Kyle M. Hammond is the CEO of FireWheel Energy. Bryan Sheffield, Parsley Energy. Stan Weiner is director of NGL analytics at AESWater Solutions.

UT Permian Basin academic partner program with the Wall Street Journal

The UT Permian Basin has announced its partnership with the Wall Street Journal. Students from UTPB will receive an exclusive subscription of the Wall Street Journal as a result of the partnership. This will happen once they get their UTPB emails account. This partnership is made possible by the College of Business & the J. Conrad Dungan Library.

The partnership will benefit students, nurses, and patients. The partnership will enable nursing students to learn advanced techniques as well as new medical equipment. Students will gain real-world experience by combining two of the most prominent healthcare organizations.
